The exhibition "Smart Garden" by Alvis Misjuns in RIXC Gallery (Lenču iela 2) is open for the last week – until January 26, 2019. On Monday, January 21, the artist will be present in the exhibition and will invite visitors to the virtual reality garden within recognizable country farm in which free and unfree will of the vegetables rule.

The opening of "Smart Garden" exhibition by Alvis Misjuns took place on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 18.00, in RIXC Gallery.
The Virtual Reality garden created by the artist – Alvis Misjuns invites the visitors into the jornay through the traditional Latvian farmsteads with living "smart" vegetables and to interect with them.
The "Smart Garden" by Misjuns is ruled by the free and not-free will of the smart vegetables. The exhibition corresponds to the current tendency to transform the non-living objects into smart and (inter)acting ones.
Alvis Misjuns is artist and educator who works with virtual reality. He has graduated the Art Academy of Latvia, Visual Communication department, and now is teaching 3D modelling and animation in Jana Rozentala Arts College.
The exhibition will be open until January 26, 2019, RIXC Gallery, Lencu iela 2, Riga, LV1010. Working hours: Every day from 12.00 - 18.00 (Closed on Sundays). Admission free.
