Third "Acoustic Space" came out in at the turn of millennium and closed editions experimental phase. This edition was introduced by Eric Kluitenberg's theoretical article about media without auditorium. That was one of the first tries to come closer to theories about what happened on the Internet – what were media art practices in nineties and what were most creative Internet experiments, which were dedicated to sound and internet radio. Besides XCHANGE network, E-Lab, which later become RIXC Center for New Media culture, in this edition reflects articles from different conferences and projects, which are dedicated to previous "Art+Communication" festivals, which introduced to Baltic see and North countries network "Nice" creation and projects in this region.
