The Symbiotic Realities. Network for Extended Green Cities is a network in development planned to launch in 2025. The main objective is to build a Nordic-Baltic network, creating a cooperation model inspired by symbiosis and nature immersion in urban environments, exploring connections between human consciousness, technology and environment, emphasizing reality as a symbiotic experience. Combining technologies like XR/AI and interdisciplinary art, the network will support future growth across Europe and collaboration with UNESCO Media Arts Cities in the Nordics, Europe and beyond.
The network's relevance is to create a new collaboration between partners from various fields, establishing a sustainable, symbiotic cooperation methodology. It aims to expand over Europe, collaborating with UNESCO Media Arts Cities in the Nordics, Europe and beyond, partnering with major Nordic-Baltic events like Techno Poetic Biennale 2026, Copenhagen and RIXC Art Science Festival 2027, organized with Liepaja, Europe Culture Capital 2027.
Partners benefit from interdisciplinary collaboration, merging art, technology, and science to foster innovation. With RIXC as an experienced new media organization at its core and partners offering fresh perspectives, they will gain collaboration opportunities, visibility at major events, and help shape sustainable cooperation models.
The relevance in the field of art and culture lies in its pioneering approach to merging ecological sustainability with technological innovation, promoting creative practices that tackle socio-environmental challenges.
