The event is part of the international exhibition "Convergence," organized by the National Science and Technology Council in Taiwan. Rasa Smite and Raitis Smits, two artists based in Latvia and Germany, founded the RIXC Center for New Media Culture in Riga. They have a long-term collaboration with astronomers and ecological and climate researchers, where they convert various research data and signals into an immersive visual and auditory experience. The work "Deep Sensing," currently on display, focuses on the cosmic rays detected by Latvia's Irbene radiotelescope. This time, the artists have been invited to Taiwan to interact with the audience in person. They will share their artistic practices comprehensively and recount their experience with the radio telescope.
