On the occasion of FIELDS exhibition, RIXC is publishing new book on artistic research project - The Talk to Me - Exploring Human-Plant Communication. The book reflects upon the processes and outcomes of RIXC's artistic research project. Networked installations with live growing bean-plants were set up in Helsinki, Riga, Tallinn, Ventspils, Basel, including presentations in Lueneburg, and Stavanger. Until the beans ripened, they received over 30 000 online messages in different languages.
